Lesson Plan:
Measurement Conversion
As I created this lesson plan, I worked in different ways to use technology to teach the lesson. Incorporating different technological pieces aids the different kinds of students I will have in my classroom. An example of this is instead of just having students share with each other, I will have them use an interactive whiteboard to jot down their ideas and then discuss with each other. By the end of this lesson plan, I want students to be able to convert measurements within one system of units, through a valid method, and provide an example.
Performance Task 1
Introduction Podcast
This is a self-introduction podcast for my students! This is an interactive way for my future students to learn more about me and the course without having to read a page of paper. Now that I know how to use the technology resource Vocaroo, I will be able to use this for future classes. I think this tool can be used as another way for me to record lessons for students when I am absent or even have them participate by using it themselves.
Performance Task 2
Concept Map
This is a concept map math lesson based on Idaho Math Standards. The concept map shows clear expectations for my student's work. The Idaho Standard that this lesson is built upon is 4.0A.A.3. which focuses on solving multi-step word problems using different operations. This concept map tool is beneficial for me as a future teacher when putting together lesson plans.
Performance Task 3
Lesson Plan Ideation
This is my Lesson Plan Ideation which gives me the opportunity to brainstorm lesson ideas by focusing on the 5E's. The 5E's are Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. Each of these is used to assist students in each step of the lesson. This is beneficial for a teacher to be able to create a map with what you may want to incorporate in a lesson. Students are able to use this resource as well when planning as a group what they might want to do for a project.

Link Tree
This is my LinkTree which includes all the links to resources I plan to use in my classroom when teaching this content. Each resource was chosen to benefit each of my students. This resource is very beneficial for me as a future teacher because it gives me quick access to all of my links needed. I can make this LinkTree accessible to parents and other staff so they can see what we are doing in the classroom. Parents are able to see what their students are doing in my classroom. While other staff may want to use the lesson themselves.
Performance Task 5
Interactional Instruction
This is an interactional lesson that was created for students to participate in on their first day of 4th grade. The video gives students the opportunity to reflect on how they are feeling starting 4th grade. But get the information about what is expected of them in my classroom for the school year. This is a beneficial way for students to feel what 4th grade will be like while thinking about what they might like to achieve.
Performance Task 6
Gamification
I have created a Kahoot for my 4th-grade students to play in class as a practice assessment for the final test. Kahoot is a great tool to use for studying or just for fun. This gives students the opportunity to study for a test but in a fun way while competing with their friends. I plan to use Kahoot often in my classroom because it is a great tool to use to engage students.
